Spanish Hello: prepare potato tortilla

In Spanish tortilla – “little cake”, which is prepared from corn or wheat flour in Central America. The local population baked them for a long time, but the modern name of the dish was given by the Spanish conquistadors. Fry the potatoes over medium heat for five minutes, stirring. Add the chopped onion, mix, simmer under a lid over low heat. Separately, beat with a fork raw eggs, salt and pepper – to taste. Pour the contents of the pan, add the green peas and tomatoes. Pour in a little more vegetable oil, heat over medium heat for a minute. Pour the mixture into the pan, reduce the heat to a minimum, heat for 15 minutes. When the liquid evaporates – turn the omelette, cook for another five minutes. Serve the potato tortilla hot.
